Territory Sales Manager

Our client is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Territory Sales Manager to provide the highest level of customer service to the Construction and Architectural community. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for professionally representing the Group in Canada while maintaining the company's standards, values and teamwork to achieve overall goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage network of distributors to ensure all Group products are properly represented in territory.
- Schedule regular product knowledge presentations with customers to provide clarification and information, including product samples, PowerPoint presentations, and appropriate literature.
- Service existing accounts, obtain new orders and establish new accounts by planning & organizing daily work schedules, making calls on existing and potential sales outlets, and other trade factors.
- Effectively manage the sales pipeline and key performance metrics, ensuring the achievement of annual targets, while logging activities into the CRM database.
- Customize sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor, preparing formal and rehearsed presentations of Group products, services and company strengths.
- Participate in professional associations and conferences.
- Develop in-depth knowledge and expertise of all Group products.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Collaborate closely with Architectural Representatives to secure jobs when Group products are listed in the specifications and drawings.
- Use Dodge reports to gain visibility on current projects and make sure Group products are bid appropriately.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies such as ASID, AIA & CSI.
- Responds to the marketplace by providing value through in-depth knowledge in a timely manner.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- 3 - 5+ years' experience in commercial building product sales sold through a distribution network.
- Well versed in solution and relationship selling.
- Bachelors' degree preferred, but will consider Associate or Technical degree along with experience and industry credentials.
- Knowledge with Division 10 distributor business model.
SKILLS
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving, presentation skills, negotiation and organizational skills, and the ability to work well with others.
- Develop and maintain relationships with distribution network.
- Ability to set and implement processes to manage projects efficiently.
- Familiarity and comfort with meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Execution of unique sales strategies to win over projects amongst competitors.
- Computer proficiency.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
