Overview

Bonnyville Hotel is seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to oversee daily operations at our hospitality property. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional guest service, and a comprehensive understanding of hotel management. Including housekeeping. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure smooth hotel operations, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance
  • Lead and supervise staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to company policies
  • Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive experience
  • Coordinate staffing schedules, training programs, and performance evaluations
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, revenue management, and cost control measures
  • Implement and maintain hotel policies to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to uphold cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance
  • Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Handle phone etiquette professionally when communicating with guests and vendors
  • Foster a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork and excellent customer service

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel management or supervisory roles within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Prior experience with human resources functions such as hiring, training, and performance management
  • Knowledge of front desk operations and guest services procedures
  • Exceptional communication skills including phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions
  • Previous hotel experience is preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to ensure smooth hotel operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
