Structural Engineering Co-Op: Spring 2026

About The Role:   Our growing team is seeking a co-op student to join us for an 8-month internship term starting in May 2026 and ending in December 2026. You will have a chance to work with our passionate and innovative talented team on a range of commercial, residential, and institutional projects, as well as many unique and architecturally expressive buildings. Here at Aspect, you'll join a unique informal culture that values diversity, drive, accountability, quality, and collaboration - These aren't just buzzwords, they're part of everything we do   What You'll Be Doing:   ●      Support engineers with design work ●      Gain experience in the office or on project sites ●      Collaborate with diverse teams locally and globally  ●      Have an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to contribute to the team's success ●      Participate in local social staff activities, lunch and learns, and engineering workshops with the Aspect team   Our ideal candidate:   ●      A 3rd year or higher engineering student, currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering program from an accredited university or college. ●      Has completed engineering courses in structural analysis concrete design, steel design, and timber design ●      Has a sound understanding of both engineering and design fundamentals ●      Enthusiastic and ambitious ●      Has excellent communication skills (both written and oral) ●      Has strong attention to detail and organizational skills ●      Is a quick learner that enjoys a challenge  ●      Is a team player who wants to contribute to a fun and collaborative work environment ●      Previous work or co-op experience in the architectural, engineering, and construction industry
