Learning & Development Specialist – Insurance Brokerage

About the RoleAs a Learning & Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's growth by enhancing the knowledge, skills, and engagement of its employees. You'll design, coordinate, and deliver impactful learning programs that empower team members to excel in their roles and strengthen the organization's overall capabilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport learning and development initiatives through effective planning, coordination, and implementation.
Coordinate and deliver engaging e-learning and in-person training sessions and events.
Develop and maintain learning materials, guides, and FAQs to support training programs.
Assist with various training initiatives, including new hire orientation, software refreshers, and skill development workshops.
Play an integral role in onboarding new branches and ensuring seamless integration into company culture and processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally to identify training needs and continuously improve the learning experience.
Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS).
Insurance industry knowledge and experience are required.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated customer service orientation and commitment to a positive learner experience.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Understanding of training techniques, learning theories, and adult education principles.
A proactive, collaborative team player who also works effectively independently.
