Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and be proficient in using various hand and power tools. The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

  • Perform body repairs on vehicles, including frame straightening, panel replacement, and painting.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify damage and necessary repairs.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Document repair processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

Skills

  • Dealership experience is preferred for understanding manufacturer specifications.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot various automotive issues.
  • Proficient in using hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, and screwdrivers.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
  • Experience in automotive repair with a focus on bodywork and refinishing.
  • Familiarity with power tools including sanders, grinders, and spray guns.
