POSITION MANDATE

The Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist (Intermediate/Senior) will be responsible for building and delivering innovative learning solutions that drive growth, capability, and performance across Team Power Solutions. This role will play a key part in designing and introducing strategic talent planning frameworks, developing leadership skills assessments, and creating engaging training programs aligned with organizational goals. The L&D Specialist will collaborate with leaders and employees at all levels to ensure development initiatives support both individual career growth and business success.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

Learning & Development Frameworks

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve company-wide L&D frameworks that support capability building and long-term talent development.
  • Align training programs with strategic business needs, technical requirements, and leadership competencies.
  • Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of L&D initiatives.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Develop and introduce leadership assessment tools to identify and strengthen leadership skills across the organization.
  • Partner with leaders to create tailored development plans for high-potential employees and emerging leaders.
  • Support succession planning by integrating talent development strategies with workforce planning.

Training Program Development & Delivery

  • Design, develop, and deliver internal training programs (technical, leadership, compliance, and soft skills).
  • Leverage modern learning methods (e.g., e-learning, blended learning, workshops, and coaching).
  • Ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability of training programs across all sites.

Strategic Talent Planning

  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to create and introduce strategic talent planning frameworks.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify organizational skill gaps and future workforce requirements.
  • Recommend development strategies to build talent pipelines for critical roles.

Change Management & Communication

  • Support change initiatives by developing training and communication strategies that enable adoption and sustainability.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with leaders to embed learning into everyday work practices.

LMS Administration & Support

  • Manage, maintain, and optimize the Learning Management System, ensuring accurate training records, smooth functionality, and user support across the organization.
  • Monitor system usage, track compliance, and generate reports/dashboards to evaluate training effectiveness and inform decision-making.
  • Research, recommend, and implement new L&D technologies and digital learning tools, ensuring alignment with industry standards and integration with TPS systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Education, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or Organizational Development (intermediate/senior level).
  • Proven experience designing and rolling out L&D frameworks, leadership assessments, and internal training programs.
  • Strong facilitation, instructional design, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with talent planning strategies, adult learning principles, and change management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

The Learning & Development Specialist operates with significant autonomy and expertise, leading the design and implementation of frameworks and programs that impact the entire organization. The role requires strong strategic thinking, hands-on program design, and the ability to influence leaders and employees alike to embrace development opportunities.

This role requires continuous collaboration with leaders, subject matter experts, and employees, often involving facilitation, coaching, and problem-solving. The incumbent must adapt quickly to changing organizational priorities and ensure that L&D initiatives are aligned with evolving business needs while maintaining consistency and quality.
