About the Role:

Blair Homes, located in Brampton, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Workers to provide high-quality care and supervision to youth in a residential setting. The successful candidate will ensure the safety and security of residents, complete daily logs, incident reports, medication charts, and other required documentation, and support youth with community outings and appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and supervision to youth in a residential environment.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and supportive environment for residents.
  • Complete all required documentation including daily logs, incident reports, and medication charts.
  • Assist youth with appointments and community outings, driving clients as needed.
  • Support daily living activities, recreational activities, and manage aggressive behaviors effectively.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Mandatory:
  • UMAB Certification (training available; staff are responsible for the training cost)
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
  • $2M Liability Insurance
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle, comfortable driving clients in the community
  • Preferred: PSW/DSW/SSW credentials
  • Experience: Providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities through daily living skills, recreational activities, and managing challenging behaviors

  • This is a casual, on-call position with flexible shift options.
