Contract Duration:
November 17 – December 31, 2025 (possibility of extension)

Shift:
Day and evening shifts; flexibility required for potential 24/7 operations

About the Role:

We are seeking
junior-level Accounting or Finance professionals
to support the clearing of Accounts Payable (A/P) backlogs for a major energy sector client. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals early in their careers who want to gain hands-on experience within a dynamic corporate finance environment. Training will be provided on all processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process, match, and reconcile invoices within the Oracle Fusion system (training provided).
  • Support daily A/P operations including data entry, vendor management, and payment processing.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized financial records and assist with audit or reporting requirements as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
    (or equivalent experience).
  • Prior experience or academic exposure to
    Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Financial Operations
    preferred.
  • Experience with
    Oracle Fusion
    is an asset, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.
  • Candidates pursuing or holding
    CPA, CIA, or equivalent international designations
    are encouraged to apply.
  • Open to candidates
    outside Nova Scotia
    ; travel and long-term stay costs will be covered for selected candidates.
