Position Overview

Your role will be to help prepare food, distribute meals to patients and serve employees in the cafeteria, safely and in compliance with food safety standards.

TEMPORARY PART-TIME 0.5 FTE, Days, evenings and week-ends

Until March 2026 or until the return of the post holder.

Criminal Check

As a pre-condition of employment:

  • All new HGH employees will be required to obtain and provide a satisfactory Police Records Check dated within six (6) months from the date of issue.
  • As of now, HGH will require all employees, physicians, learners, contractors and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

What we are looking for

You must :

  • Hold a High School Diploma
  • Have experience in a similar position
  • Functional bilingualism (French and English)
  • Be willing and available to train on a full-time or part-time basis
  • Be physically able to handle and transport food carts throughout the hospital and serve customers.
  • Must be versatile.
  • A Food aid Diploma would be an asset.
  • Must have a good attendance record.
  • Must have a positive attitude compliant with HGH's values
  • Satisfactory review of the Human resources file
