Overview

We are seeking a highly organized Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and distribution activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse management experience, and a solid understanding of logistics, inventory control, and process improvement. This role is critical in ensuring efficient operations, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing warehouse productivity within a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate greenhouse distribution, shipping & receiving, and materials handling operations
  • Support manager by overseeing team, including training and follow up for greenhouse and retail operations
  • Support inventory management
  • Oversee forklift operations and mechanical maintenance to support heavy lifting and materials handling tasks

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Greenhouse Supervisor or Operations Supervisor within a Greenhouse would be excellent but not essential. If you believe you can do this job, let us know why.
  • Hands-on experience with inventory management, inventory control, shipping & receiving, and materials handling
  • Mechanical knowledge related to greenhouse equipment such as forklifts and other heavy machinery
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate across departments and the ability to communicate effectively with upper management
