Overview

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household and commercial appliances. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing technical expertise to ensure customer satisfaction and appliance performance. The position requires a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems, with a focus on delivering high-quality service.

Duties

  • Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
  • Repair or replace faulty components in appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, and HVAC units
  • Perform routine maintenance to prevent future breakdowns and extend appliance lifespan
  • Install new appliances according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly
  • Test repaired appliances to ensure proper operation before returning them to customers
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used
  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during all service activities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in appliance repair or related electrical/mechanical fields
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and HVAC principles is preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex appliance issues
  • Excellent customer service skills with professional communication abilities
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately
  • Assembly skills for installing or replacing appliance components
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service appointments efficiently
  • Prior experience working with HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $8,000.00-$15,000.00 per month
