Job Overview

As an Accounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the company. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong numerical skills and proficiency in various accounting software.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry – review and post supplier invoices, research discrepancies, and obtain approval prior to payment

  • Reconcile accounts payable files and/or reports, spreadsheets

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations

  • Participate in month end and year end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations and journal entries

  • Participate in audit requests

  • Reconcile retail sales and investigate discrepancies

  • Prepare analysis for accounts, as required

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

-Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, UltiPro, and Kronos

-Strong data entry skills with high accuracy

- Knowledge of payroll processes and accounts payable functions

-Ability to perform basic math calculations effectively

- Experience with budgeting and account reconciliation is a plus

  • Préparer les rapprochements bancaires mensuels

  • Participer aux activités de clôture du mois et de l'année, y compris les régularisations, les rapprochements et les écritures de journal.

  • participer aux demandes d'audit

  • Rapprocher les ventes au détail et enquêter sur les écarts.

  • préparer l'analyse des comptes, le cas échéant

  • Effectuer d'autres tâches en fonction des besoins.

Qualifications requises

  • Maîtrise des logiciels de comptabilité tels que QuickBooks, UltiPro et Kronos.

Solides compétences en matière de saisie de données avec une grande précision

  • Connaissance des processus de paie et des fonctions des comptes fournisseurs

  • Capacité à effectuer des calculs mathématiques de base de manière efficace

  • Expérience de la budgétisation et de la réconciliation des comptes est un plus.
