Technical Lead, Endpoint Security Protection, Brampton ON
Reporting to a director, the Technical Lead Endpoint Security Protection, will provide technical and business expertise for Endpoint Protection and Data Loss Prevention DLP at Loblaw.
The Technical Lead Endpoint Security Protection will oversee the implementation for Endpoint Detection Response (EDR) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions; Establish and maintain governance processes, system health checks, metrics and reporting; Participate in continuous service improvement & policy administration; and Provide third-level support for cyber incident response investigations applying security technologies.
What You'll Do:
- The ideal candidate has passion to collaborate with security, application and infrastructure teams (compliance, risk, architecture and operations) to provide updates and knowledge on all endpoint security activities across Loblaw Technology.
- Evolve security engineering procedures, develop use cases and documentation to establish outstanding capabilities to detect, respond and remediate.
- You will work with Security technology and infrastructure vendor partners to improve the maturity of existing platforms, explore new technologies, conduct research and testing.
- Leverage security technology vendor relationships, contacts and experience to help guide, build and maintain the currency to react swiftly and contain cyber threats.
- Your deep understanding of EDR and DLP security tools, technologies, security threats, tactics, techniques and procedures used by threat actors, security and enterprise level Information Technology Engineering, operations, processes and incident management, will help you be successful.
What You'll Need:
- Progressive experience in administration/management of Endpoint technologies, focusing on EDR and/or DLP
- Ability to take on problems and a passion for continuous learning and development
- EDR operational continuous improvement
- Experience and/or knowledge of security and privacy enhancing technologies are an asset
- Solid hands-on security engineering experience in previous role with DLP solutions for Endpoint, Email and Network
- DLP policy implementation, optimization, tuning and testing
- Information Protection
- Any of the following are considered an asset:
Scripting knowledge (Powershell, Bash, Python)
Network DLP and or Email DLP experience
Information security certifications are an asset
