Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires keen observational skills, the ability to respond quickly to incidents, and a strong commitment to loss prevention. The Security Guard will utilize surveillance techniques and equipment, including CCTV, to monitor premises and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
  • Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to maintain oversight of the premises.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances, ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.
  • Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and protect property from theft or damage.
  • Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary, providing information and assistance as required.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and security systems to identify vulnerabilities.

Experience

  • Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other security technology.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
