Reporting to the Director, Global Procurement, the Procurement Specialist holds a key role within the Procurement and Supplier Management function at SOTI. You are an excellent communicator with proven ability to influence at all levels within the organization.

Responsibilities
- Effective partnering with internal business units
- Manage the procurement life cycle, including sourcing and acquiring good and services
- Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements and delivery specifications; prioritize all requests according to stakeholder needs
- Develop and present pricing and service options purchases, including saving analysis, supplier offering comparisons, and solution recommendations
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers; perform market research to better understand current and future offerings relative to our business
- Negotiate prices, terms and conditions, delivery specifications, and services
- Work with our accounting team to ensure a smooth and timely process for executing invoice payments
- Work with legal to ensure that contracts support buying decisions
- Create purchase orders and expense reports for corporate purchases on credit card.
- Manage and when required supervise facilities contractors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience and accomplishments
- 2-3 years of procurement experience
- Demonstrates a working understanding of MS Office
- Strong Excel skills preferred
- Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple project deliverables on multiple projects effectively
- Demonstrates excellent communication, reasoning and analytical skills.
- Excellent commercial understanding and business acumen
