In the Individual Insurance Analytics and Data Valorization Department, our mandate is to use a variety of quantitative tools and methods to collect, consolidate, model, visualize and interpret business data in order to provide decision-making support and give internal partners an overview of the activity being processed. You take on a leadership role for development projects and innovative, complex strategic initiatives. Coordination is critical. You interact with many stakeholders working in a wide range of fields. More specifically, you will be required to :

  • Advise client to define their needs to ensure that the initiative or project meets the actual needs of users

  • Participate in prioritizing mandates by assessing the impact on members, clients and the organization

  • Contribute to complex or transformational projects by defining requirements that promote data valorization

  • Build and develop Power BI reports and dashboards using database management systems

  • Monitor technology and best practices for dashboard construction while ensuring that your knowledge is shared within the team

  • Identify opportunities to improve methods and processes, and recommend improvements to data management tools

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate quantitative discipline

  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience in data valorization, analysis and visualization

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Knowledge of French is required 

  • Proficiency in SQL / SAS / Python

  • Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query or other visualization software

  • Knowledge of data modelling concepts

  • Understanding of needs-gathering and analytics advisory roles

  • General knowledge of the individual insurance industry
