The Director of Technology & Innovation leads the transformation of Radius into a technology-enabled, forward-focused organization. This role shapes the systems, tools, and digital products that will define the next era of operational excellence and customer experience.
Partnering across all Radius divisions, this Director oversees the development, execution, and adoption of technology solutions that enhance service delivery, data integration, and efficiency. They maintain a strategic technology roadmap and drive the internal and customer-facing innovation portfolio — ensuring every initiative is executed on time, on budget, and with measurable impact.

CORE AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Innovation Culture & Leadership Development
- Build a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Mentor and develop the next generation of innovative leaders.
- Implement a minimum of three team-driven innovation ideas annually.
- Maintain a team engagement score of 4.5 or higher on Gallup surveys.
Technology Strategy & Roadmap
- Develop, maintain, and execute a 3-year technology & innovation roadmap aligned with the company's strategic goals.
- Integrate internal system improvements and customer-facing technology initiatives.
- Present the roadmap to the Executive Team quarterly for review and approval.
Customer-Facing Product Development
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of customer-facing technology solutions that enhance engagement, transparency, and automation.
- Ensure new technology initiatives improve customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Deliver products that achieve their target ROI and meet customer satisfaction objectives within 12 months of launch.
Internal Technology & Portfolio Management
- Oversee cross-functional innovation projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, scalability, and system integration.
- Partner with internal departments to deliver measurable process improvements.
- Maintain internal infrastructure stability and uptime at 99% or higher.
- Deliver a minimum of three major innovation projects annually, achieving measurable operational gains across participating departments.
Project Delivery & Execution
- Drive disciplined project management practices to ensure all innovation and technology initiatives are executed on time, on budget, and within defined scope.
- Achieve at least 90% of projects delivered within 10% of planned schedule and budget.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews with lessons learned completed within 60 days of launch.
Cybersecurity & Business Continuity (Governance Oversight)
- Ensure innovation initiatives align with secure, compliant, and sustainable business practices in collaboration with IT leadership.
- Oversee the security oversight committee and ensure zero major cybersecurity breaches annually.
- Conduct annual tabletop testing of the Business Continuity Plan.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
· 10+ years in technology leadership, product development, or digital transformation. (Preferred: 3–5 years in a Director or Senior Management role; experience in regulated or safety-focused industries)
· Bachelor's Degree in: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Business Administration (with a technology or operations focus).
· Master's Degree (an asset) or additional training in a related field such as Innovation Management, Technology Leadership, Digital Transformation, Data Analytics, or Product Management.
· Relevant certifications considered an asset, such as: Project Management (PMP), Lean Six Sigma/Lean Agile
· Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and implementing technology initiatives that deliver measurable results.
· Strong understanding of digital product development, systems integration (e.g., ERP, CRM, IoT, data platforms), and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
· Working knowledge of AI, automation, and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate)
· Skilled in Agile project management and change management for technology-driven initiatives.
· Experience building a culture of innovation and guiding digital transformation across departments.
· Brings a customer-first mindset, ensuring technology and innovation strategies create real value and impact.
· Inspires through action, modeling the company's values and fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability
· Lead, mentor, and coach both the IT + R&D teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning
