Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work and is dedicated to learning and adapting to our kitchen while having a strong understanding of food handling and safety protocols, as well as an ability to deliver high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking.
  • Follow recipes and instructions from the head chef.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety standards are adhered to.
  • Collaborate with team members.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a full service restaurant is required.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices within the restaurant industry
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a courteous attitude under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality food preparation.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
