Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Optometric Assistant located in Waterdown, ON. The Optometric Assistant will be responsible for assisting during eye exams, scheduling appointments, providing excellent customer service, and pretesting. They will also help in maintaining patient records and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Optometry
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service ability
• Experience in Appointment Scheduling
• Ability to provide Training for contact lens usage and care
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in optometric services is advantageous
