A dynamic, visionary leader is sought who will lead the Mike Petryk School of Dentistry within the FoMD and the College of Health Sciences, advancing excellence in education, research, and community-engaged clinical training in oral health.

Within the College of Health Sciences, the FoMD at the University of Alberta (Edmonton, Alberta) is internationally recognized as a top-five health sciences faculty in Canada and top-75 worldwide. The Mike Petryk School of Dentistry has a 100-year-plus history as a leading Canadian centre for education and research in oral health. Today the School comprises 500+ faculty and staff and 400+ learners (certificate, undergraduate and graduate). It serves ~15,000 patients annually across seven permanent clinic sites and multiple mobile clinics in Alberta. Academic programs include one accredited Dental Assisting certificate, two undergraduate programs (Doctor of Dental Surgery; Dental Hygiene), and six graduate programs, as well as Continuing Dental Education offerings ranging from micro-courses to full certification.
