Finance / Finance Director

Principales responsabilités

· Planifier et coordonner les fonctions opérationnelles relatives à la comptabilité

· Coordonner et participer au processus de fin de mois

· Coordonner et participer à la préparation des états financiers annuels

· Développer les budgets annuels et les prévisions en collaboration avec le VP Finances & DG

· Superviser la gestion financière, la gestion des risques et les liquidités générales de l'entreprise

· Évaluer les activités comptables et mettre en place des pistes d'optimisation et de contrôle

· Élaborer et faire le suivi des mesures de rendement de l'entreprise (KPIs)

· Identifier et implanter des initiatives visant à améliorer l'efficacité opérationnelle et la productivité des processus financiers, opérationnels et administratifs

· Encadrer, motiver et développer l'équipe finance, tout en s'impliquant activement dans leurs travaux au besoin (approche « hands-on »)

· Favoriser un environnement de travail collaboratif favorisant la performance des équipes par des pratiques de mentorat et de coaching

· Assurer la gestion des contrats d'assurance bâtiment, de rénovation, et autres contrats divers

· S'assurer de maintenir à jour ses connaissances de l'évolution des produits au niveau technologique

· 

Participer à des formations (interne/fournisseurs), des congrès et des foires commerciales

Qualifications requises

· Titre de CPA

· Minimum de 10 ans d'expérience dans un rôle sénior en comptabilité ou finance

· Expérience en supervision de personnel

· Bilinguisme (parlé/écrit) * La personne devra communiquer avec des intervenants anglophones au Canada.

· Excellentes aptitudes analytiques et résolution de problèmes

· Être à l'aise dans un environnement multisites

· Capacité à mobiliser des équipes et à collaborer efficacement avec les différents services

· Expérience des systèmes ERP

Finance Director

Main Responsibilities

· Plan and coordinate all operational activities related to accounting and finance

· Coordinate and participate in the month-end closing process

· Coordinate and participate in the preparation of annual financial statements

· Develop annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the VP of Finance & GM

· Oversee financial management, risk management and the company's overall cash flow

· Evaluate accounting activities and implement optimization and control measures

· Develop and monitor the company's performance indicators (KPIs)

· Identify and implement initiatives aimed at improving the operational efficiency and productivity of financial, operational, and administrative processes

· Supervise, motivate, and develop the finance team, while participating in their work on an as needed basis (a "hands-on" approach)

· Promote a collaborative work environment that supports team performance through mentoring and coaching

· Oversee the management of building, renovation and other various contracts

· Stay up to date with knowledge pertaining to new products and technologies

· 

Attend training sessions given by suppliers and participate in industry meetings, seminars and trade shows 

Requirements

· CPA designation

· Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior accounting or finance role

· Experience in people management

· Bilingualism (spoken/written)

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Comfortable working in a multi-site environment

· Ability to engage teams and collaborate effectively with various departments

· Experience with ERP systems
