OPUS 356 is seeking an experienced Intermediate Interior Designer to join our growing Luxury Residential division. This role is ideal for a designer with strong technical ability, exceptional custom detailing skills, and proven experience delivering high-end residential projects.

About the Role

The Intermediate Designer will support the full project lifecycle—from concept development through to construction documentation, while contributing to the refinement of millwork, detailing, and overall design execution. You will collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and our internal studio team to ensure projects are delivered with precision, creativity, and clarity.

Key Responsibilities


•
Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and material palettes


• Produce detailed drawings and construction-ready documentation


• Lead custom detailing and millwork packages


• Manage multiple project timelines, milestones, and deliverables


• Coordinate with clients, consultants, trades, and suppliers


• Support construction coordination through advanced detailing


• Uphold design integrity and OPUS 356 standards across all phases

Qualifications


•
5+ years of experience in luxury or high-end residential design


• Degree or diploma in Interior Design


• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp/Enscape, Adobe Creative Cloud


• Strong FF&E knowledge and 3D visualization skills


• Exceptional communication, organization, and project management


• Experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments


• Revit experience is considered an asset
