Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced product manager with a demonstrated track record in launching and managing digital and/or knowledge-based products. The ideal candidate will have previous product management experience in a high growth, knowledge-based, and/or technology company.

As a Product Manager you will act as a key founding team member in our Product function alongside our AVP Product Management and VP of Product. You will be an integral part of further developing our product culture, supporting the build and execution of a comprehensive and state-of-the-art product philosophy and methodology. You will work directly on owning individual products end-to-end, supporting our product vision and strategy and contributing to our overall product roadmap.

As part of the core product team establishing our product center of excellence, you will have the opportunity to influence the future of our clients, team members, our firm, industries and the IT practice. You will directly support and enable how products and services are designed, delivered, and managed as a best practice within the company. You will take responsibility for supporting our broad and diverse product portfolio of several dozen products, and support key new product launches every year that will further fuel our hypergrowth.

Role
You should be well versed in industry practices and have a proven track record of successfully managing complex knowledge and technology-based product portfolios. This role requires bringing a depth of knowledge in:

  • Market-back customer-focused multi-year product roadmap and portfolio planning
  • Voice-of-Customer capture and translation into product requirements for dev teams
  • New offering development and value proposition creation
  • New Product Introduction stage gate processes
  • Competitive assessments
  • Supporting development teams in the dev and implementation of products
  • Pricing and product portfolio strategy
  • End-of-life effective management

Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of two to three of Info-Tech's core products across their full lifecycle including product launch, optimization / refresh activities, and End-of-Life strategies, including:

  • Making informed decisions on trade-offs between scope, schedule, and resources

  • Working closely with the cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery of products
  • Monitoring and ongoing assessment of product performance in the market

  • Create business plans that include market opportunity, value propositions, competitive assessments, product/offering requirements for new products (cost and price targets, focus development partners/customers, market and customer segmentation, timing, etc.)

  • Nurture an ongoing relationship with key/strategic customers and partners to ensure that we support them to the best of our abilities
  • Work alongside key research and product development team members to deliver products, while maintaining the right balance between quick iterative wins, longer-term structural improvements, and executing on against an evolving product roadmap
  • Identify opportunities through cross-functional idea generation driven by primary, secondary and observational research and work with various internal partners to review our product portfolio and pivot in scenarios of any underperformance
  • Be a product evangelist across our entire firm, our clients and across the IT practice. Further expand our product culture

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years (depending on roles) of professional experience in product management, product marketing, consulting or a technology-related field.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects.
  • A highly collaborative style and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, with a proven ability to manage a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • An obsession with customer problems and developing solutions.
  • Excellent client-facing presentation skills with ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Experience training internal teams as part of bringing products to market, particularly the sales, support and customer success teams.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in highly flexible, rapidly changing, ambiguous work environment
  • A flexible and open mindset with evidence of strategic thinking, creativity and vision in driving growth.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and possessing a strong sense of urgency.
  • Growth-minded
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field of study. MBA highly desirable
  • Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in French, Spanish or German is preferred to support our diverse client base across North America and globally.
