Role Description
This is a contract-based hybrid role for a Restoration Project Manager located in Hamilton, ON, with flexibility to perform some tasks remotely. In this position, the Restoration Project Manager will oversee and coordinate reforestation and restoration projects for this tree planting season 2026 in Ontario, Quebec and Michigan. Key responsibilities include performing project site inspections, managing logistics, and ensuring timely project execution. The individual will also engage in expediting activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in project management, including planning, executing, and monitoring restoration projects.
- Experience in expediting and expeditor tasks to ensure project timelines are met efficiently.
- Proficiency in inspection and evaluation of sites for reforestation and restoration purposes.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in logistics management to coordinate resources and supplies effectively.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Capability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, in a hybrid workplace arrangement.
- A relevant degree or certification in environmental science, project management, or a related field is advantageous.
- Experience in sustainability, ecological restoration, or landscape management is highly desirable.
