Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Heavy Equipment Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the cleaning, interior and exteriors of heavy equipment machines on site. This role requires a strong focus on attention to detail, The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various weather conditions. Strong communication skills including working part of a team or independently. Experience using a hot pressure washer is an asset. A Heavy Equipment Detailer is responsible for providing a multi-step cleaning process that involves removing loose dirt and debris, applying a degreaser to tough grime, and then thoroughly rinsing the machine. Proper detailing requires a pressure washer for the exterior, safety gear, and specialized products for both the exterior and interior, including automotive cleaners for the cab and upholstery cleaner for seats.
Duties
- Perform standard washing technics using a high powered pressure washer.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of equipment to maintain hygiene and functionality.
- Fully detail interiors and exteriors of equipment on site
- Use and operate an upholstery machine for interior cleaning.
- Troubleshoot any cleaning equipment issues and provide timely solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to complete each job in a timely manner
- Follow proper heavy duty machine equipment handling and safety protocols on site.
- Maintaining and ensuring the proper and safe use of all cleaning equipment and products.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various weather conditions.
Requirements
- Proven experience or similar role is preferred.
- The ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment maintenance practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet operational demands.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
