Position Overview

We're looking for an Assistant Production Manager to support our Senior Production Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in coordinating crews, materials, and schedules in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Production Manager in planning, organizing, and supervising multiple roofing and exterior projects.
  • Coordinate job schedules, deliveries, and subcontractors to ensure on-time completion.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Track and report project progress, including material usage and labor hours.
  • Help troubleshoot on-site issues and support the field teams as needed.
  • Maintain production records and assist in improving operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in construction, roofing, or a related field (production coordination experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools, spreadsheets, and project management software.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of roofing systems and safety procedures is an asset.
