About the Hotel The Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is a 128-room hotel, owned and operated by Easton's Group of Hotels. Located just off of the 401 hwy, it features 2 meeting rooms, the Bistro restaurant and a pool with a 100-ft water slide.

Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is looking for someone who is friendly and hospitality-focused to join our team as a Maintenance Worker
What will you be doing?
- Performing general maintenance work to ensure hotel maintenance quality and safety standards are achieved and maintained.
- Completing minor work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, patching vinyl, painting, repairs to pipelines, toilets, sinks, kitchen, and laundry equipment, etc.
- Monitoring the efficiency of equipment and electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, guests' entrance/access doors, television sets, and lighting systems and makes minor repairs and/or replacements to ensure proper operation and maximum efficiency.
- Maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the exterior of the facility, grounds, pool, and exercise/sports facilities (including property signs and lighting)
- Promoting teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
- Performing functions with minimal supervision.
What are the requirements for this role?
- Basic reading, writing and math abilities.
- 1+ year(s) of general building maintenance and repair experience. Completion of high school diploma or related vocational training preferred.
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Strong communication skills
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical skills, preventive maintenance procedures, and reasonable understanding of building equipment and hand tools.
