Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Requirements

Please answer the following questions:

  1. Are you a certified Personal Support Worker?

  2. Can you speak English? Speaking Italian is a bonus.

  3. Do you have a minimum of 1 year of experience?

  4. Do you have experience with dementia, parkinson's, and immobility care?

  5. Are you able to use a manual Hoyer lift and urinal?

  6. Are you able to reposition and transfer the client with a sling by yourself?

  7. Can you bed bathe the client (including cleaning a not circumcized male) and groom the client?

  8. Can you prepare meals, feed the client, and give medication?

  9. What is your height?

Skills

First aid and CPR certification preferred. Experience in home health care, hospice care, or long-term care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs.

Strong background in caregiving, including cooking and meal preparation for clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility challenges.

Knowledge of direct support practices for individuals with disabilities is essential.

Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with clients, families, and healthcare teams.

Compassionate approach towards working with seniors and individuals requiring special care.
