Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of freight and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining effective communication with drivers and customers. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties

  • Prepare weekly schedules and book loads.
  • Plan routes respecting Drivers' Hours of Service.
  • Ensure booked loads meet regulations and verify cargo against bills of lading.
  • Provide drivers with accurate shipping documents and maintain load sheets.
  • Track drivers, vehicles, and seals; follow up on idling and incidents.
  • Monitor and close bonded shipments; retain ACE/ACI manifests and customs documents.
  • Coordinate with brokers, warehouse, sales, and customer service teams.
  • Respond to pickup/delivery queries and resolve in‑transit issues promptly.
  • Maintain customer relationships and provide shipment status updates.
  • File incident reports and support driver training and performance tracking.

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Knowledge of shipping documents, customs procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, use dispatch systems, and track KPIs.

This role balances real‑time operations, regulatory accuracy, and proactive customer service.

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
