Job Description
Labourer, Field Maintenance (Part-Time Contract)
Seed and grow your career within MLSE's Groundskeeping team
Partnering with the Supervisor, Groundskeeping, you'll support the preparation and maintenance of world-class playing surfaces for Toronto FC and Toronto Argonauts. This part-time contract role will give you hands-on experience with field operations at both BMO Field and BMO Training Ground. You'll work closely with facility and operations staff to ensure our athletes compete on safe, professional-quality fields.
Responsibilities
You want a role where your work has a direct impact on the game. At MLSE, you'll:
- Contribute to the preparation of professional soccer and football fields at BMO Field and BMO Training Ground.
- Operate field and landscaping equipment including tractors, mowers, and line trimmers.
- Support painting and lining of multiple types of athletic fields to professional standards.
- Maintain landscaping around stadium and training facilities to the highest quality.
- Assist in the day-to-day upkeep of grounds to ensure athlete, staff, and fan safety.
- Collaborate with teammates across Operations to deliver exceptional playing conditions.
Qualifications

- Flexibility to work extended hours, including some evenings and weekends.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfort working outdoors in variable weather conditions.
- Valid Full G driver's license in good standing is an asset.
Additional Details:
- Work location: BMO Field and BMO Training Ground (Downsview Park).
- Contract: Part-time, 30–40 hours per week, 5-6 days a week.
