The National Account manager is responsible for the sales, planning and administration of assigned Product category related activities with as well as other e-commerce and retail channels. Duties include long term planning as well as day-to-day execution of tasks on these specific accounts to ensure the best positioning of Samsung products online and in stores. Ability to work within Amazon's framework and Vendor Central platform is essential. Constant contact between the Customer and Samsung Head office is required.
Role and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build sales growth for assigned accounts and product lines.
- Deep understanding and ability to execute advertising on and within the Amazon Media Group.
- Knowledge of eCommerce and understanding or online performance metrics such as ROAS, CPC, DPVR.
- Understand and affect change on in order to achieve revenue, profit and market share targets.
- Develop and execute tactical plans, manage budgets, forecasts, promotional planning and pricing. Key point of contact for all account activity incl. internal connections with SCM/Mktg./Finance.
- Develop and grow Samsung Brand within the ecosystem.
- Collaborate with all related Product Managers and Samsung Marketing team to plan Samsung's brand management, Product Pages, Brand Store, Advertising Plan around current product line-up and key launch activities for new product additions.
- Manage and implement business trade spend within account programs and management budgets.
- Analyze high priority account performance quarterly utilizing Samsung KPI'sManage weekly product forecast by model and ensure inventory forecast matches promotional calendar.
- Make product presentations, both new product introductions and present product offering to customers and prospects as prescribed by the Company sales guidelines.
- Serve as the liaison between customer and Samsung to coordinate and collaborate on inventory related matter including:
- Review Sales trend and future demand
- Purchase Order Submission
- Short-Term upside/downside requests
- Samsung commitment within lead time
- Long Range order forecast
- Appointment requests Follow-ups
- Logistics Issues
Skills and Qualifications
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Digital Marketing Course an asset.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of e-commerce ecosystem
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CPFR Programs
Experience:
- 3-5 Years of Industry Experience.
- 1-3 Experience working with Vendor Central/Seller Central.
- Experienced professional with full understanding on specialized areas; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analyzing data requires evaluating identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments.
- Typically requires minimum 5 years' of related experience and a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience.
The salary range for this role is expected to be between $95,000 to $125,000 and reflects base salary only. Actual pay will be determined based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience. This posting is for a current job vacancy.
