Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The position involves performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring vehicles meet safety and quality standards using a variety of tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and assembly tasks
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting and working with potentially hazardous materials
  • Assist in the assembly of vehicle components when necessary
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed and answering questions professionally

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably with dealership background
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics for diagnostics and repairs
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work with various automotive parts and equipment
  • Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and assembly processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Good customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant certifications or ASE certification is a plus but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.75-$47.91 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
