The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Journeyman Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic service department. If you have a strong passion for luxury vehicles, possess outstanding technical skills, and want to work with world-class brands, this is your chance to make an impact.

As a Journeyman Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Jaguar, Land Rover, and Volvo vehicles. Your expertise will directly contribute to delivering a seamless and exceptional experience for our customers while ensuring all vehicles are serviced to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, suspension, electrical, and more, to meet brand-specific standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and service procedures including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify complex vehicle issues.
  • Ensure all repairs and services are completed efficiently, professionally, and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and labor hours.
  • Work collaboratively with service advisors, customers, and fellow technicians to ensure outstanding service delivery.
  • Adhere to safety and environmental standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Continuously stay updated on new technology, tools, and service techniques to remain at the forefront of the automotive industry.
  • Participate in ongoing training and manufacturer-specific certifications to enhance skills and expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician certification.
  • Proven experience working with luxury or import vehicles an asset.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and experience with modern automotive technology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both customers and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented, with a passion for delivering quality work and exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to lift heavy parts, work with various tools, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
