Together we are more than 5,000 dedicated faculty, librarians and staff supporting the University of Victoria's diverse academic programs, world-class research and commitment to civic engagement.*This position is eligible for a Hybrid Work Arrangement*The salary range for this position is:Recruitment range: $75,755 - $83,525 starting salary determined by the PEA Collective Agreement.Performance range: $98,528 salary range ceiling is available through annual performance increases.Job SummaryThe Portfolio Optimization Analyst plays a strategic role in enhancing the effectiveness of University Advancement's fundraising efforts. The position ensures that major gift officer and development officer portfolios are optimized for equity, efficiency, and alignment with institutional priorities. Through advanced data analysis and strategic insight, the Analyst supports leadership decision-making and contributes to a sustainable, high-performing prospect pipeline.Objectives:Optimize fundraising portfolios to align with campaign goals and donor engagement strategies.Provide advanced data analysis and predictive modeling to inform strategic decisions.Establish and maintain performance benchmarks and portfolio standards.Serve as a subject matter expert in portfolio strategy and best practices.Support a data-informed culture through training, coaching, and actionable insights.Ensure portfolios are campaign-ready and support long-term fundraising success.Job RequirementsSkills and Qualifications:This position requires a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in data analytics, business, nonprofit management, or a related field, plus a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in advancement services, prospect management, fundraising analytics, or a related discipline.
