Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of commercial spaces while working in a professional setting.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Clean and sanitize common areas and elevators regularly.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and floor equipment safely and effectively.
  • Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities.
  • Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
  • Be available to answer emergency clean up calls from security.
  • Follow cleaning schedules.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift light to moderate loads.
  • Reliable work ethic with the ability to work independently.
  • Prior experience in facilities maintenance or general upkeep is a plus but not mandatory. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all building occupants, contributing significantly to overall facility operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.25 per hour
