The Turf Care Department at Red Deer Golf and Country Club is looking to recruit full-time and part-time positions for the upcoming 2026 season. At RDGCC we strive to provide a great outdoor work environment and the opportunity to grow within golf course management.
Responsibilities
ü Maintain healthy turf on greens, tees, fairways and rough to club standards
ü Perform basic landscape and clean up tasks
ü Safe operation of string trimmers, push mowers and other small equipment
ü Safe operation of specialized turf equipment
ü Assist with course set up & performing daily tasks
ü Equipment and safety awareness
Qualifications
Ø Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ø Positive attitude and the desire to work in a team environment
Ø Motivated and accountable
Ø Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ø Interest to learn new skills
Ø Capable to adapt to a changing work environment
Ø Willingness to work outdoors during inclement weather
Ø Ability to perform physical work, lifting 20-40lbs
Ø Availability to work early mornings and weekends
Ø Reliable transportation
Ø Punctual and dependable
Experience preferred but not required - training provided
