Senior Accountant

Backed by strong leadership and a collaborative team culture, this organization is in expansion mode with new systems, acquisitions, and continuous improvement initiatives underway. Principal Tasks and Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage core accounting functions, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Support process improvements to streamline month-end timelines and enhance data accuracy.
  • Analyze variances, investigate cost fluctuations, and provide clear insights to management.
  • Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and reporting across multiple entities.
  • Partner with operations and general managers to ensure alignment on financial performance.
  • Support ERP system enhancements and contribute to better real-time financial visibility.

Qualifications and Pre-Requisites:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on accounting experience within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Excel with experience using pivot tables and data analysis tools.
  • Experience handling multi-entity reporting and intercompany transactions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders.
  • A process improvement mindset with an eagerness to grow and take on more responsibility.

Additional Information or Perks:

  • Base salary range: $85,000 to $100,000 CAD
