Inspiring Virtues is based in Red Deer, also providing services to surrounding areas in Central Alberta. Inspiring Virtues provides facilitation of groups/workshops/programs and events for children, youth, individuals and families on a variety of empowering topics.

Your role would be working as part of a team to mentor, support and supervise children and youth while providing a safe, fun and inclusive group environment. Working in positive collaboration via communication with facilitators to plan, organize and facilitate programming for children and youth while developing and maintaining positive relationships with participants.

Requirements:

  • Current first aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Criminal Record Check and Current Child Intervention Record Check
  • Ability to be flexible, responsible, reliable and adaptable
  • Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively with staff and community partners
  • Valid driver's license
  • The ability to work effectively with children and youth and have a solid understanding of child development and child and youth issues
  • Post-secondary education in a social services, child and youth care or youth-related field {preferred); or an equivalent combination of experience working with youth and community
  • Experience in program planning and implementing and engaging youth
  • Be part of a diverse, passionate, collaborative team focused on educating and empowering youth to be the best versions of themselves.
  • Having fun and making a difference

Flexible hours with occasional evenings and weekends required.

Rate of Pay will be determined at Interview.
