Budal Construction Group is a General Contractor based out of Red Deer, Alberta. Our core mission is to provide turn-key franchise construction, plumbing, electrical, woodworking and project management services to our valued clients in Western Canada and nationally. We are currently recruiting for Construction Project Managers.

We expect a high level of competency, above average teamwork, and collaboration. As an evolving company, we are seeking individuals that adapt easily to change and are willing to work out of town, or evenings, (if required). Our job locations are mainly in Western Canada. Flights, transportation, accommodations, and LOA pay are provided. Although Budal's policy is to provide weekends off/at home, some weekend work may be expected to meet specific deadlines.

We are looking for a skilled, energetic Construction Project Manager to take on the responsibility of implementing construction projects and meeting company deadlines. We would like to find an individual who is equipped with a background in commercial construction and has an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be well versed in various types of construction, possess strong negotiation skills, have excellent critical thinking skills and have impeccable communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team to coordinate site activities.
  • Facilitate the development of a project plan.
  • Manage subcontractors and work collaboratively with engineers, owners and franchisees to ensure they are delivering on their responsibilities.
  • Work within budgets and control costs. Ensure the quality of work meets or exceeds required standards.
  • Ensure the work is done according to the project schedule to deliver the project on time and within agreed timelines.

Along with the above responsibilities, you will be expected to work alongside tradesmen in the role of Journeyman Carpenter. You will be expected to have all of the required tools and training along with a valid and clean class 5 drivers license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 per hour
