Are you looking for a rewarding career in the security industry where you can apply your strong communication and de-escalation skills to help others? If so, Paladin Security may be the perfect fit for you We are hiring security Guard to work at Bow Valley College and/or other sites

Our Security Guards work in diverse settings, including retail centres, high-rise and low-rise office buildings, and other commercial or residential locations. This role is dynamic and can be physically demanding. Candidates must be available for day and overnight shift rotations, as well as weekends and holidays.

**Typical Duties & Responsibilities**

  • Provide exceptional customer service and build effective relationships with clients and patrons
  • Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety, address policy breaches, and report concerns
  • Respond to security alarms and emergencies promptly and professionally
  • De-escalate crisis situations, offer support, and coordinate with police, fire, and paramedic services
  • Exercise crowd control and remove trespassers when necessary
  • Prepare clear, detailed incident, emergency, liability, and daily activity reports
  • Provide first aid and medical assistance when required
  • Use two-way radios and computer systems to communicate site activities
  • Manage Lost & Found items and inquiries
**Job Requirements**
  • Valid Alberta Security License or eligibility to obtain one
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service abilities
  • Sharp observational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to make quick, sound decisions while staying calm under pressure
  • Physically able to walk 18–20 km and navigate stairs
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
