RAPS is Seeking a Weekend Caregiver to assist an individual with a Brain Injury & Complex Needs (E8)

Location South Edmonton (Near Windermere)

Days: Saturday and Sunday

Hours: 7am-5pm

· Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: Building meaningful relationship with client and family.

· Client handling/transferring.

· Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, changing incontinent products).

· Feeding and medication administration via g-tube.

· Respiratory care (cough assist, nebulizer machine, suctioning).

· ROM/stretching assistance.

· Light housekeeping (sanitizing equipment, light laundry).

· Accompany on nature walks.

· Client engagement and companionship.

Qualifications:the successful candidate must have an updated criminal record check containing the Vulnerable sector check portion,Health Care Aide Certificate, First-Aid/CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain), fluent in English and be a non-smoker. Nursing students/graduates are encouraged to apply, training will be provided Ideal candidate will be reliable, consistent, and caring in nature. Preference given to those who have experience with respiratory care and g-tubes.
