Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst (Intermediate) to support data-driven decision-making within a category management and procurement environment. The successful candidate will transform complex data sets-including spend, supplier, financial, and market data-into meaningful insights that enhance performance reporting. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, gathering business requirements, designing analytical products, and ensuring high-quality outputs that meet organizational standards and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze procurement, contract, financial, and market data to produce accurate and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver business intelligence solutions.
  • Work with tools such as SAP, Power BI, Alteryx, and other evolving technologies to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements for BI products.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and other information products.
  • Capture and maintain metadata for all BI assets, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
  • Conduct data audits, data quality reviews, statistical analysis, and data mining activities.
  • Support project control processes, including schedule tracking, status reporting, risk identification, and change management.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet defined quality standards and deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot issues, escalate risks when required, and provide timely responses to ad-hoc data inquiries.
  • Work effectively in a multi-vendor and multi-stakeholder environment, contributing to team goals and shared outcomes.

Experience

Candidates must have experience in -

  • Business Intelligence / Data Analysis – analysing large datasets (procurement, contracts, finance, or market data) to generate insights and reports.
  • BI Tools – hands-on experience with tools such as Power BI, SAP, Alteryx, or similar analytics and reporting platforms.
  • Dashboard & Report Development – designing, building, and maintaining dashboards, data models, and information products.
  • Requirements Gathering – working with business stakeholders to collect, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
  • Data Quality & Auditing – performing data validation, cleansing, data quality checks, and ensuring integrity of source data.
  • Metadata Management – capturing and maintaining business and technical metadata for BI products.
  • Statistical Analysis & Data Mining – applying analytical methods to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Project Coordination Support – contributing to schedule tracking, reporting, issue/risk management, and change management processes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration – working with multi-team environments, including both internal staff and external vendors.
  • Quality Assurance – validating the accuracy, reliability, and completeness of analytical outputs and BI deliverables.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $150,000.00-$200,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
