Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional food service to our customers while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. You will be responsible for food preparation, assisting with cooking, and ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly. Duties

  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist in serving food and beverages to customers as needed.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen management.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience with food preparation and cooking techniques is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cashiering duties and POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous.
