Are you a friendly, reliable, energetic, personable and outgoing individual looking to work in an office environment?

Christie's is looking to hire a full time (40 hours a week) Customer Service Representative to join the sales team interacting directly with customers by phone and electronically.

Christie's Office Plus has been servicing our community with office supplies and education materials for generations. Christie's offers growth, stability and career opportunities to our growing team

Your responsibilities would include

  • Ensures exceptional customer satisfaction with accuracy and professionalism while processing purchases and customer orders.
  • Takes opportunities to maximize sales while effectively assisting customers.
  • Assists in the resolution of customer complaints, returns and exchanges.
  • Follows proper customer order procedures including special and pre-paid orders, ensuring order forms are completed and priced correctly.
  • Willingness to be an active participant in a continued learning environment about products, procedures, and services to further assist customers in making their purchasing decisions.
  • Works closely with staff in all locations to gain understanding and assistance in completing job related tasks.
  • Provides support to the sales staff in administrative duties such as written communications, presentations, mail outs, keying orders, resource gathering.
  • Willingness to assist, complete and maintain the necessary daily duties within the branch during a team members absence.
  • Participate in company promotions by phoning customers and offering to customers that call in.
  • Varying work when necessary. Other duties may be assigned.

The successful candidate would also possess

  • Effective, strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Above average organizational skills and ability to multi task.
  • Quick learner & problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn about products to assist customers in making decisions.
  • Ability to engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Capacity to work independently and seek out assistance as required.
  • Ability to work effectively with ongoing distractions is necessary.
  • Can engage appropriately and work as part of a team.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
