Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. is looking for a customer-oriented and knowledgeable Parts Counter Representative to join the Brandon Parts Department. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Parts Counter Representative is responsible for assessing customer needs and taking customer orders while providing excellent customer service experience. This is a full time, permanent position located in Brandon, Manitoba.

The Role:

  • Provide an exceptional customer service experience to customers in person and over the phone
  • Process parts requests and returns, quote prices, advise of product availability, create purchase orders, and collect payment
  • Increase sales by upselling and cross-selling related products
  • Provide Service Technicians with parts as required
  • Maintain the retail sales floor, counter and displays to dealership standards
  • Assist with inventory
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of heavy-duty parts considered an asset
  • Superior interpersonal skills; able to communicate clearly and interpret customer needs
  • Ability to lift 50lbs. consistently and safely
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer programs
