The opportunity:
Reporting to the Vice-President, Advisor Marketing, the Senior Manager, Advisor Marketing will lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives designed to support financial advisors and drive business growth. This role involves developing comprehensive marketing strategies and scalable marketing solutions, creating targeted content, managing campaigns and analyzing performance to ensure engagement with advisors and clients and drive growth. The Senior Manager Advisor Marketing will collaborate with teams within and outside of marketing to identify and operationalize integration opportunities and process optimizations, foster advisor relationships and support business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement marketing strategies tailored to support the needs of financial advisors, aligning with the organization's overall business goals Act as a resource person for clients (i.e. generating specialized reports, questions about specific products, etc.).
- Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print and event-based channels.
- Analyze market trends, advisor needs, and competitive landscape to inform and optimize marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and broader business objectives.
- Content Creation and Management
- Oversee the creation of high-quality content that engages financial advisors, including emails, brochures, presentations, webinars and videos.
- Collaborate with other areas of marketing to maximize content opportunities and transform content into turnkey solutions for advisors, ensure optimal use of content across all channels.
- Ensure content is aligned with brand guidelines and tailored to the target audience.
- Develop thought leadership materials to position the organization as an industry leader and trusted partner for financial advisors.
- Ensure content is relevant, up to date and valuable in helping advisors meet their goals.
- Campaign Management
- Lead end to end campaign development, from ideation and strategy to execution and analysis, ensuring timely delivery and maximum impact.
- Manager advisor outreach campaigns, both automated and personalized, to drive engagement and generate leads.
- Optimize marketing efforts through continuous analysis of campaign performance analysis and make date-driven adjustments to improve results.
- Monitor KPIs and ROI to assess campaigns performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Relationship Management
- Build and nurture relationships with individual advisor teams and key advisor segments to understand their needs and challenges, tailoring marketing strategies to address them.
- Organize and execute advisor-focused events, webinars and workshops to strengthen relationships and provide valuable insights.
- Develop strategies to increase advisor engagement, satisfaction, and retention through personalized communications and targeted offerings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for marketing-related support and inquiries from financial advisors.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align marketing efforts with sales initiatives and product offerings.
- Partner with Digital Marketing team to ensure seamless integration of advisor marketing strategies across all online platforms.
- Process Optimization
- Act as Vice President's right hand in identifying process optimizations to reduce response times and time to market, promoting more effective decision making and driving creation of scalable solutions and knowledge transfer between marketing teams and marketing's business partners.
- Leadership
- Manage a team of two effectively, laying the foundation for performance standard.
- Help VP build a high performing team and manage talent development of junior marketing associates.
- Coach the team of two direct reports through on-the-job training, setting accountability standards and sharing best practices and efficient knowledge transfer.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years' experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in leadership or senior manager role.
- Experience within the financial services or advisor marketing space an asset.
- Deep knowledge of various marketing platforms and tools including Content Management Systems (CMS), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), digital advertising platforms, email marketing and lead nurturing platforms, social media management and analytics, content creation and creative design tools, customer journey mapping and marketing attribution.
- Proficiency with the MSOffice suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
- Deep knowledge of the financial services industry and the unique marketing needs of financial advisors.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to financial services marketing.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing programs that drive advisor growth, lead generation and client retention.
- Demonstrate a high level of accountability, reliability, adaptability, and innovation in accomplishing day-to-day work and long-term goals.

Conditions of employment:
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

- Must be able to travel within Canada 0-10% of the time.
