Required Qualifications:
One year related post secondary certificate required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Grade 12 or recognized equivalent required. Completion of a course in medical terminology required. Unit Clerk diploma from a recognized educational program required. Word processing/typing speed wpm required. Proficiency in spelling, grammar and punctuation required. Legible handwriting required. Interpersonal skills, i.e. verbal and telephone communication required. Attention to detail and accuracy required. Must maintain confidentiality in a strict manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent organizational skills Ability to work as a team member. One (1) year recent experience in a patient care setting desired. Computer literacy an asset.
