About the Role
Botpress is looking for a Technical Support Engineer who thrives on solving problems and helping users succeed. This is not just a support role—it's an opportunity to work directly with customers, improve our product, and shape the future of AI automation.
We need someone who loves technology, enjoys talking to people, and can think on their feet. Whether you studied engineering, science, or just love tinkering with tech, you'll fit right in if you're eager to learn, adapt, and make an impact.
What You'll Do
- Help our customers through live chat, ticketing, and Discord, ensuring they get the most out of Botpress.
- Create educational content (videos, guides, and tutorials) to empower users.
- Assist sales and partnerships teams by creating demos, solutions, and presentations.
- Prototype and build small applications using Botpress to showcase AI automation in action.
- Collaborate with partners and integrations to develop high-value use cases.
- Work cross-functionally with product and engineering to share customer feedback and improve our platform.
Who You Are
- Tech-savvy – You don't need to have worked as a software engineer (that's a plus), but you should be comfortable with APIs, integrations, and troubleshooting.
- A great communicator – You enjoy helping people and can explain technical concepts in a simple way.
- Problem-solver – You love digging into challenges and finding creative solutions.
- Self-starter – You take ownership of tasks and are always looking to improve things.
- Eager to learn – You're curious about AI and excited to work with cutting-edge technology.

Requirements- Background in STEM (or equivalent technical experience).
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (French is a plus).
- Some experience with customer support, technical support, or sales engineering.
- Comfortable writing code (Typescript is a plus).
- Familiarity with APIs and databases (SQL/NoSQL) is a plus.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment (startup, SaaS, or tech company) is a plus.
