S Four Inc. is a family-owned and operated property management company proudly rooted in the Kitchener-Waterloo community. We manage approximately 15 multi-residential properties across the region and are dedicated to maintaining safe, comfortable, and high-quality living environments for our tenants.

We are looking for a Property Maintenance Technician to join our team and work under our Property Maintenance Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on maintenance or carpentry experience who takes pride in doing quality work and enjoys variety in their day.

Position Summary

As a Property Maintenance Technician, you'll help ensure our buildings and units remain in excellent condition. You'll assist with day-to-day repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance, while supporting the Maintenance Manager in coordinating larger projects.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who's dependable, skilled, and values a family-run, community-oriented work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and fixture installation.
  • Assist with apartment turnovers and renovation projects.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager with scheduling and coordination of work orders.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies as directed.
  • Help maintain common areas, building exteriors, and outdoor spaces.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are kept organized and in good working order.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous approach when interacting with tenants and contractors.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in property maintenance, construction, or general repairs.
  • Working knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, drywall, and electrical work.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a small team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Physically capable of performing manual labour.
  • Familiarity with the Kitchener-Waterloo area is an asset.
