Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial or custodial work, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in commercial spaces
  • Clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and surfaces in accordance with company protocols
  • Follow established safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning tasks
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers
  • Good time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting needs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
